!!️ We’re at 142 signatures—help us hit 1,000 by Monday, July 21!
Every signature forces the UNC System to act. Don’t stop now.
Pre-1980 buildings remain ticking time bombs for toxic PCBs, and every delay potentially puts more lives at risk. We need to know if the buildings we work, study, and research in are contaminated with PCBs.
Here’s how you can help right now:
1️⃣ SIGN petition if you haven’t: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/pcb-free-unc/
2️⃣ SHARE with 3 people! Need some need some opening lines? Try:
Faculty/staff: "Could your workplace be toxic?"
Alumni: "Did your old dorm or classroom put you at risk?"
Students: "Demand a safe campus TODAY."
3️⃣ AMPLIFY: Repost our graphics and videos on Instagram.
Why this works:
🔹 NC State only tested Poe Hall after public outrage—we know pressure works.
🔹 Four campuses have confirmed that PCBs pose risks to our campuses UNCA, UNCC, UNCP and NC A&T have all conducted campus PCB testing. Your school and workplace deserves the same.
🔹 60+ deaths linked to Poe Hall—how many more before UNC System acts?
With enough voices, we can force testing before another community suffers.
